Car GPS receiver supports quad-band network
Taiwan – Advance Vision Electronics Co. Ltd has released model GPS-50-03, a car GPS receiver that operates on 850/900/1800/1900MHz quad-band GSM and GPRS class 10 networks.
The AGPS- and GSM/SMS/GPRS-enabled device features 10,000 GeoFence locations and plots areas using GPS points or GSM cell IDs. It is built in with an LCD and a data logger that records up to 250,000 location points. An onboard memory extends storage up to 10,000 location points. Real-time location tracking and monitoring is supported.
The water-resistant model comes with quick-dial buttons that store four preset phone numbers, an emergency button and low power and vibrating functions. It supports remote command and configuration via USB, SMS or GPRS.
